Mermaid Colouring Pages

Mermaids are one of those topics where every retailer's colouring book lands in the same place: a few stock poses, the same coral reef in the background, the same flowing hair. Crayon Dreaming gives you a different mermaid for every page if you want one.

A mermaid princess sitting on a coral throne, a mermaid friend group at a tea party in an underwater garden, a mermaid pulling her hair into a sea-shell crown, a baby mermaid swimming with dolphins. Type the scene, choose a style, and a printable page appears in under a minute.

For younger kids, the Kawaii and Cartoon styles give you friendly, easy-to-colour mermaids with bold outlines. For older kids who love the swirling hair and fish-tail detail, Storybook or Anime are the right call.

Frequently asked questions

What style works best for mermaid pages?

Storybook is the most popular, the flowing hair and tail detail looks beautiful in that style. Kawaii is the easiest for under-7s. Anime is the pick for older kids who want big-eyed, illustrated mermaids.

Can I make a mermaid that looks like my child?

Yes. Either describe their hair colour and skin tone in your description.

What about merboys and merfolk?

Type "merboy" or "merman" straight into the box and the generator will draw a male mermaid. "Merfolk" gives you a mixed group. We don't lock the topic to gendered defaults.

Will the underwater scenes have lots of detail?

Ask for it when you describe the scene and yes. "A mermaid in a busy coral reef with tropical fish, seahorses and seaweed" gives you a much more detailed page than "a mermaid". More detail means more colouring time.

Can I turn the pages into a printed mermaid book?

Two paths. Pick 20 or more favourite mermaid pages from your My Creations gallery and we'll print and bind them into a real book and ship it worldwide. Or use the gift flow to start fresh: pick a mermaid theme, describe twenty pages, and we'll print, bind and ship that as a one-off book.
